Job Description:

Oral Health Therapist – Community-Based Role

3 Days per Week | School Hours | Brisbane South / Ipswich / Logan Region

Step away from the traditional clinic setting and into a role that offers something genuinely different.

We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Assistant or Oral Health Therapist to join Dental 2 You, a well-established mobile dental provider delivering care within childcare environments across Brisbane's southern corridor.

Why Dental 2 You?

Dental 2 You has built a strong reputation for delivering accessible, high-quality care in the community, while also creating a work environment that is structured, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable for its team.

This is not the typical fast-paced, high-pressure clinic setting. Instead, you'll be part of a model that prioritises organisation, consistency, and meaningful patient interactions.

What's In It For You

  • Work-life balance – short, structured days (4–5 hours), aligned with school hours
  • Consistency – set days and predictable schedules
  • Lower stress environment compared to traditional high-volume clinics
  • Travel allowance provided – you're not out of pocket for kilometres
  • Variety in your day without the chaos of a busy surgery
  • Supportive team environment with strong systems in place
  • Opportunity to work in a role that feels purpose-driven and rewarding
  • Strong potential for ongoing work beyond the initial placement

This role has received exceptional feedback from current staff, many of whom have been pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable and manageable the work is.

The Role

  • 3 days per week
  • 4–5 hours per day
  • Locations include: Logan, Beenleigh, Ipswich, Redbank Plains, Goodna and surrounding areas
  • 6–8 week placement initially, with potential to extend
  • Work conducted within childcare centres

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the delivery of dental care in a mobile setting
  • Working within a well-organised, structured daily schedule
  • Building rapport with young patients in a calm, professional manner
  • Assisting in maintaining efficient workflow across multiple locations

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Dental Assistant or Oral Health Therapist
  • Confident working independently and adapting to different environments
  • Strong communication skills and a gentle, patient-focused approach
  • Driver's licence essential (travel between sites required)
  • Reliable, organised, and professional
